The next phase of a housing development in Birmingham. The four trees on the right need felling to allow for construction of a car park. Working closely with Ecologists, a Badger sett has been closed off and it's inhabitants moved to a bespoke new home adjacent to the development.
Stump grinding is the most efficient method of removing unwanted tree stumps. The stumps are ground into chips which can then be removed to allow reinstatement of the area. We have a range of grinders that can usually access most places.
Here are the guys planting semi-mature trees on a site in Birmingham. The team are using an underground anchoring system to secure the tree in place rather than the traditional stakes and ties. Irrigation tubes are also installed to facilitate watering (essential in a challenging environment such as this).
